The company will donate €100,000 over the next five years to fund two critical projects led by the CRIS Cancer Foundation: one focused on hormone-positive breast cancer at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, and the other on melanoma metastasis at the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa in Madrid.
The CRIS project on hormone-positive breast cancer aims to explore why certain tumors resist conventional therapies, looking into new strategies, including immunotherapy, to combat these cancers. The research on melanoma metastasis will delve into the mechanisms that allow tumor cells to spread, with the goal of developing treatments to prevent metastasis and improve patient outcomes.
At the award ceremony held at Madrid’s Hotel Intercontinental, Belén Martínez, Marketing Manager at Skeyndor, shared the company’s heartfelt commitment to more than just cosmetics. as she collected the award alongside Leo Cañadilla, Director of Companies and Foundations at CRIS Cancer Foundation.
